Swimming season has arrived

Centralia Hurricane Violet Watson torpedoes through the water in the 50-meter freestyle

The past week has been a busy one for the Centralia Hurricanes Swim team. The 80 swimmers started on the road June 3 at Eldon against Eldon and Bolivar, then finished the week at home against Mexico and Fulton.

June 11 after Fireside Guard press time they will be at home again, against Mexico, Eldon and Boonville.

Here are there some of the results from the Eldon and home meets, with just those Hurricanes who finished in the top three listed.
