“Hot Chocolate from the Polar Express,” “Zoot Suit Riot,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas:” Those were just some of the tunes that tickled the ears of more than 400 fans of the Centralia High School Band program Wednesday night in the CHS gymnasium.

Though football fans had seen her work every time the CHS Marching Band took the field at home football games, for others the CHS Winter Concert might be considered a coming out party for Kim Neighbors, CHS’ new band director.

Jazz Band, Concert Band and Color Guard were all on hand to show their stuff for the fans.

Hot Chocolate, Zoot Suit and Charlie Brown, were performed by the jazz band.
