For 90 minutes Centralia’s City Hall council chamber was filled with dissenting opinions and esoteric civil engineering factoids.

The afternoon of February 4, 12 people, five of them Centralia aldermen, plus one mayor, a city administrator, a city clerk and two representatives of Columbia-based Engineering Surveys Services debated details of Centralia’s latest proposed road improvement project.
