A local woman is trying to help people suffering under the damage caused by Hurricane Michael in Florida.
“I have a friend who lives in Panama City. She was lucky enough to not lose everything in the hurricane but knows plenty of people who did,” said Centralia’s Amanda Hill, who is hoping to bring a carload of home supplies to Panama City Florida.
Hill said she hopes to fill her gray 2018 Nissan Sentra with canned food, bottled water, personal care items and other things to help the hurricane victims.
