The Centralia Panther wrestling team rolled 60 minutes north to Palmyra January 9 and returned with three dual-meet wins.

Centralia beat Palmyra, 56-27.

Centralia beat Macon, 72-9

Centralia beat Brookfield 64-12.

“We won three duals,” said Luke Gramke, “Centralia head wrestling coach. “That only comes from a team effort. We won most of the matches we expected to win, with only a few problems there, and lost the matches we expected lose. What really impressed me was seeing the Centralia wrestlers in their seats, cheering for their teammates. That shows our wrestlers are invested as a team.”

Against Brookfield the following wrestlers pinned their opponents: Jesse Shannon – at 120 pounds, Austin Dawson – 145, Anthony Stevens – 152 and Trevor Bodine – 195.

Rafe Mechline – 170, won by decision and Brayden Dubes – 106, Gabe Maenner – 113, Grafton Littrell – 182, Sam Lynn – 220 and Xaden Lockett – 285 received byes.

Against Macon Dubes, Brayden Shelton – 132, Kyden Wilkerson – 152, Mechlin, Littrell, and Lynn pinned their opponents.
