Centralia’s Avenue of Flags going up Thursday

Centralia’s historic Avenue of Flags is scheduled to rise and many hands make for light work.

The avenue goes up, 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8 to commemorate Veterans Day, weather permitting.

This year, instead of the nearly 500 flags that typically go up, volunteers may only be raising fewer than 30 said
