Plans are finalized for the seventh annual “Battlefield Bash,” to benefit the private park known as the Centralia Battlefield.
It will be held Saturday, June 16 at the Battlefield Park, southeast of Centralia.
The fun starts at 5 p.m. and shuts down at midnight.
This year the event will feature an even richer silent auction and raffle selection to tempt attendees’ wallets, while the culinary workings of Scott McManama and the rest of the Hog Haven crew tempt their taste buds.
“Besides the great all-you-can-eat, pulled pork, hash-brown casserole, BBQ beans and cole slaw, we have a lot of cool stuff in the raffle and silent auction,” said Jim Lee, one of the event’s founders and organizers.
That includes music, Lee said.
“The Lazy J’s are coming back to play,” he said. “They will be jamming country, pop and old-time rock and roll.”
