After more than 50 years as a mainstay of downtown Centralia business, one of Centralia’s economic building blocks has changed hands. Fenton Funeral Chapel, started by the Fenton family in 1951, has been sold.
Tom Fenton, member of the founding family, retired October 1 after many years of dedicated service to Centralia, and the surrounding area.
He sold the Centralia landmark to Todd and Diana (Schultz) Kendrick.
Todd is a licensed Funeral director and embalmer and has been working in the funeral industry since 2002.
He is from Monroe City, and has spent the last 10 years working at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico.
Diana was born and raised in Centralia, she is the daughter of the late Loyd Schultz and Marchelle Schultz. Todd said he, Diana and their boys Grant, Gavin, and Grayson are very excited to come to Centralia to be a part of and serve the Centralia Community.
