They were not in the Centralia High School gym the evening of November 5, but their work was.

Members of the CHS orchestra, chamber choir, and concert choir performed pieces by each of them during their “Fall into Music” fall concert.

Judging by the applause, the 500 or so parents, friends and family members filling the gyms’ east bleachers and adjacent floor-space seemed to enjoy the 45-minute concert.

“it was very good,” said Shannon Brightwell, there to listen to his son Grantland singing. “This is the result of a lot of good teaching, students trying hard and a lot of good song choices. My son has a great time in choir.”
