The Centralia Police department, acting on a tip from concerned parents, has arrested a 24-year-old Columbia man on suspicion of attempted sexual contact with a minor.
Curtis Josh McCuistion is being held in the Boone County Jail on $50,000 bond for one count of first degree sexual misconduct and one count of enticement or attempted enticement of a child less than 15 years old by a person 21 years old or older.
According to Lt. Tim Kribbs of the Centralia Police Department, the CPD became aware of McCuistion after being contacted by the parents of the victim, a 14-year-old Centralia female.
