Aldermen, commission, and committee members are now in place in Hallsville City Hall.
During their July 13 meeting Hallsville’s aldermen certified their June election results and filled various committee and commission slots.
Logan Carter was sworn in as mayor, Stephen McLane as Ward I alderman and Tony Lindsay as Ward II alderman.
The aldermen then turned to commission and committee appointments.
Terry Duffen was reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Tom Payne was also appointed to P&Z.
They reappointed Laura Moss and Alaina Durk to Hallsville’s Park Board.
Former alderman Trynton Roberts was appointed as an alternate to P&Z Board of Adjstments, to the Park Board and as city representative to the Mid-Mo Solid Waste Management District.
For their final appointment the aldermen appointed Tony Lindsay to the office of Mayor Pro Tem.
From there it was time for department reports, starting with Bryan Schultz, chief of the Hallsville Police Department.
