Hallsville comes from behind to beat Harrisburg in first round of the Centralia Invitational

Lady Indians win 47-33

It took almost three quarters to do it, but Hallsville Head Coach Matt Heet’s Lady Indians won their first game of the Centralia Invitational.

They beat Harrisburg 47-33.

Rachel Hargis led Hallsville with 10 points, supported by Kristen Jones with eight. Avery Oetting, Chole Quintana and Natalie Mitchell followed up with six each.

Carly Ellis led Harrisburg, and the game, with 14.

Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., Hallsville plays Macon in the second round of the girls’ bracket.
