Lady Panthers win CCC championship!

Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Shelbina Golf Course the Centralia High School girls cross country team won the Clarence Cannon Conference championship.

The ladies placed as follows: 4th place Schyler Angell, 6th place Chris Heimann, Angell and Heimann earned 1st Team All-Conference honors.

Earning 2nd Team All-Conference: 8th place Lily Stidham, 10th place Mara Davis, 12th place Erika Bourgeois, 13th place Gracie Schultz.

The boys team placed second, led by Peyton Peyton Davis, who took second, Duke Newsted, fourth and Patrick Finnegan, fifth. Davis, Newsted and Finnegan earned First Team All Conference honors.

Second Team All-Conference honors went to:
Stephen Bradshaw, who placed 13th and Dallas Lewsis who placedĀ 14th.
To top it all off, Centralia’s athletes were not the only one honored. CCC officials also announced conference Cross County Coach of the Year winner is CHS’ Jason Watermann.
