People will soon have an opportunity to learn how to protect their family and friends in the face of disaster.
The afternoon of Sunday, September 8, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church on Mexico’s South Grove St.
Audrain County Emergency Management Director Nicholas Tietsort, estimated around 12 emergency response agencies and groups will be at the disaster expo to share tips on how to get through times of extended power and other utility outages caused by natural or man-made disasters.
“The expo will feature a collection of first-responders and disaster response experts there to share their expertise on surviving disasters, natural or man-made,” Tietsort said of the fourth annual disaster exposition.
