Audrain Medical Center board maintains tax levy

Audrain Medical Center’s board of trustees has voted to maintain AMC’s tax levy at .183 cents per $100 assessed valuation, the maximum allowable rate at this time

They voted in the tax during their Aug. 30 special meeting. Trustees Bill Dubbert, Sterling Oliver, Donna Peak, Gene Thomas and Sue Waechter voted in favor.

That was a few days after their August 26 regular meeting. That was when the trustees received their 2010 property value report. It listed an approximately nine percent increase in the county’s current valuation. The meeting minutes attribute the increase to...
