Panthers win Centralia Classic track and field invitational

Centralia hosted Bowling Green, Hallsville, Helias, Montgomery County, North Callaway and

Macon for the May 6, Centralia Classic.

The Panther boys and girls teams won their respective divisions, dominating the visiting teams.

The boys won with 237 points to Bowling Green’s 128 and Macon’s 98.

The girls won with 202.5 points to Bowling Green’s 155 and North Callaway’s 99.5.

First place winners for the girls were: Carter Hawkins in the 100-m dash; Schyler Angell in the 3200; Carter Simkins in the 300 hurdles; Lacey Pavlak in the shot put and discus

Contrail’s boys division first place winners included: Peyton Davis in the 400-m run, 100 hurdles; Nate Riddle in the 1600-m; Duke Newsted in the 3200-m; Liam Swanson in the 300 hurdles; the 4×100 relay; the 4×200 relay; Christian
