Road work for Mid-Missouri

The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of June 17-28, 2019. The projects listed will include lane closures that could cause traffic delays. Full roadway closures are also noted. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule.

Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations.  Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.

Pavement Work Will Temporarily Impact Traffic on Audrain County Route Y

Weather permitting, June 17-20, MoDOT crews will be doing pavement work on Audrain County Route Y. The road may be closed in areas between Missouri Route 22 and Audrain County Route NN while the work is completed. The work will be completed between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during these times. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.

Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 63 between Route 763 and the Randolph County line – Pavement repair in the northbound and southbound lanes continues. The work is scheduled for completion in November.

Route 124 over Grindstone Creek, west of Route 63 – New bridge construction continues. The project is scheduled for completion in December.

Route 163 (Providence Road) between Interstate 70 and Route K – Signal upgrades, sidewalk repair and ADA improvements in various locations continue. The project is scheduled for completion in August, 2020.

Route 763 (College Avenue) between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Business Loop 70 – Signal upgrades, sidewalk repair and ADA improvements in various locations continue. The project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route AC (Grindstone Parkway) over Route 63 – Bridge rehabilitation is underway. The bridge is closed, but entrance and exit ramps at the interchange are open. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.

Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between Route 63 and Business Loop 70  Roadway improvements and striping continue in the westbound lanes, including High Friction Surface Pavement Treatment. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.

Route 763 (College Avenue) between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Rollins Street – Pavement repair continues. The project is scheduled for completion in November.

Daylight Hours
Route 163 between Route H and Route K – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. The project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route E between Route 124 and Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) – Pavement repair will take place Monday, June 17 through Thursday, June 27.

Route N between Route 163 and Easley River Road – Chip sealing operations are complete. Striping operations will take place the week of June 17.

Route NN between Route 63 and Route 124 – Chip sealing operations are complete. Striping operations will take place the week of June 17.

Route WW between Route 63 and the Callaway County line – Chip sealing operations are complete. Striping operations will take place the week of June 17.

Route YY between Route 124 and Red Rock Road – Chip sealing operations are complete. Striping operations will take place the week of June 17.
