An audience of six observed social distancing in the Sturgeon R-V K-8 Library for the June 11 meeting of the Sturgeon R-V School board.
Besides the swearing in of four board members and recognizing outgoing board member Charlie King for his six-years of service on the board, the audience learned when and how the Sturgeon High School graduation would be held as well as discussion regarding changing from the valedictorian/salutatorian system of recognizing high school achievement to the cum-laude system, and upgrades to the district’s communication system.
