Sturgeon schools offering free meals

If you are between the ages of newborn to 18,  there is a free breakfast and or lunch with your name on it available at the Sturgeon R-V K-8 building at 210 W. Patton street.

Monday through Friday breakfast and lunch will be available at the school cafeteria, courtesy of USDA grant, said R-V’s Jeff Carr, super school principal and curriculum/transportation director.

Breakfast is from 7:30 to 8 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“The meals are prepared on site by are our local cafeteria staff,” Carr said.
