Sweet and sour court warming for Centralia Panthers

Centralia High School’s Court warming, held on a Saturday this ¬†year, held reasons happy smiles and sad sighs for fans of the Black and White.

Sighs, the Lady Panthers lost a hard-fought game, 68-46 against the Highland Cougars.

Smiles, the boys beat Highland, a resounding 62-29.

Additionally, Kyra Dickerson and Will Rolfson were crowned Home coming Queen and King between the games.

Carter Simkins led the Lady Panthers with 11 points, followed by Claire Hunter with eight and Kalin Finlay with seven.

Kaitlin Benson drove the Lady Cougars with a game-high 20 points.

On the boys’ page of the score-book, Guy Moran and Peyton Davis led the Panthers with 10 points each. They were followed by Jackson Wells with eight and Dallas Lewis, Nic Brooks and John Durant with six each.

Kaden Koch led Highland with nine.
