There were two races held Saturday morning, June 2 at Centralia’s Anchor Festival.
The first was the Scout Trek 5-K, followed by the Centralia Rotary Club’s 1-K Anchor Run.
Derek Calhoon won the male 19 and under division with a time of 19 minutes and 35 seconds. Duke Newsted placed second at 19:49 and Kyle Haskell took third at 22:54. Calhoon was also the overall winner.
Gary Deckerd won the male 20 to 40 age group with a time of 22:19. Randy Sheriff won the 41 and above division with a time of 25:57.
Schyler Angell won the girls’ 19 and under division with a time of 22:03, followed by Kaitlyn Erhart at 24:33.
Nancy Robinson won the girls 20-40 division with a time of 22:28. Lucy Mills took second at 25:01 and Salina Green, third at 25:13.
Overall winners in the 1-K Anchor run were Seth Beard and Schyler Angell
In the boys eight and under division, Oliver Bohlmeyer won at 6:55, followed by Gradon Hedbert at 7:08.
In the nine- to 12-year division, Mattie Robinson won at 6:14, followed by Wesley Robertson at 6:27.
1n the 13- to 16-year division, Beard beat Newsted by a nose at 5:55 and Cody Smith placed third at 6:49.
In the 17 and above division, Jared Decker won at 6:24, followed by Greg Hedberg at 7:23.
In the girls eight- and under division, Kameryn Wainscott won at 8:18, followed by Ealynne Bostick at 8:32.
Sadie Bohlmeyer won the girls 9- to 12- division at 8:16, followed by Emery Auck at 9:21.
Angell won the 13-16 division at 6:12, followed by Lily Stidham at 6:26.
Erhart won the 17-plus division at 6:28, followed by Nancy Robison at 7:14.
