A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy 22 and Hwy. 124 on Centralia’s west side has reduced traffic on both roads to one-lane or less as EMS personnel work to free one of the accident’s two victims’ from her car.
The wreck involved one passenger car, apparently west bound and one pickup truck apparently east bound. At 4 p.m., members of the Centralia Fire and Police Departments along Boone County Fire Protection District and Boone Hospital Center Ambulance were on the scene assisting the victims.
