Betty Sue Sheridan, 92 of Hallsville, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Neighborhoods by Tiger Place.
 Family and friends are invited to Betty’s Life Celebra­tion 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia.
 Betty was born on July 14, 1932, in Boone County, the daughter of John W. and Lucille (Dothage) Crane.
 In June of 1953, Betty married Marvin Lee Sheridan, Jr. and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1986.
 Betty is survived by a son, Jonathan Sheridan and wife Louise of Doniphan, MO, and a daughter, Susan Cook and husband Kermit of Columbia; grandchildren, Tobias Cook of Columbia, and Jessica Keller of Gettysburg, PA; a great-granddaughter, J.C. Keller; siblings, Jim Crane and wife Sylvia of Ashland, Mary Jane Connor and husband Bob of Lees Summit, Carol King and husband Buck of Arkansas, and Joann Duncan of Columbia.
 Along with her husband, Betty was preceded in death her son Russell Sheridan, parents, and siblings, John W. Crane, Jr., Joe Crane and Jeanie Crane.
 Betty worked many years for the University of Missouri, then spent 20 years as a teacher for the Hallsville Schools.
