CINDY KELLY

 Cindy Kelly, 55 of Sturgeon, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her home.
 Family and friends are invited to Cindy’s Life Celebration Service 11:00 AM, Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Crossing Church in Columbia.
 Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church on Friday.
 A graveside service will take place 3:00 PM Friday, at Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon.
 Cindy was born on February 8, 1970, in Mexico, the daughter of Richard and Dana (Barnes) Pollock.
 On July 27, 1991, Cindy married Darrin Kelly, and he survives.
 Along with her husband, Darrin, Cindy is survived by her sons, Garrett Kelly and wife Jessica of Sturgeon, Spencer Kelly and wife Tara of Columbia, Brayden Kelly and wife Julia of Sturgeon; grandchildren, Briggs Kelly, Gracie Kelly, Blakely Kelly and Beau Kelly; her mother, Dana Pollock of Sturgeon, brother, Doug Pollock and wife Miranda of Sturgeon; 12 nieces and nephews.
 Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Richard Pollock.
 Cindy was a 1988 graduate of Sturgeon High School, then received her Bachelor’s in Social Work in 1991, she went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work in 1993, and her Master’s in Guidance Counseling in 2002 all from the University of Missouri.
 She worked as the Guidance Counselor for Sturgeon High School for 13 years before her retirement in 2015.
 Cindy was a member of the Crossing Church in Columbia, where she enjoyed volunteering in many different capacities, she was also a member of the Sturgeon Recreation Board and the Columbia Country Club.
 She would volunteer for many community activities and associations over the years.
 Cindy loved her family deeply and enjoyed hosting family dinners every Sunday that everyone looked forward to. She loved her grandchildren, and her light shined brighter when they were with her. She loved their home that they often shared with family and friends, traveling with Darrin, her community of Sturgeon, Mizzou football and basketball, and spending quality time with their friends.
 She will be missed greatly, by so many.
