MARY HELEN CHITWOOD

 Mary Helen Chitwood, 80, Centralia, MO passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia, MO. She was born January 1, 1945, in Mexico, MO the daughter of the late George and Mary Jane (O’Bryan) Parrott.
 She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son; three daughters; five sisters; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, two children, one brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
 Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, coloring and reading her bible. She loved visiting with people and never met a stranger. The family would like to thank all the staff at Heritage Hall Nursing Center and Gentiva Hospice for all the care they have given to Mary in the last few months.
