Audrain, Boone County, COVID-19 update – July 28

The health departments of Audrain and Boone County have issued updated Coronavirus data.

Audrain, as of July 28, has had 187 cases, 13 of which are active.

None are travel-related and all are due to community transmission. According to Sandra Hewlett, ACHD’s director, 173 of those who contracted the Coronavirus are fully recovered and Audrain County has had only one death from the virus. According to a news release from her office, 3,915 people have been tested for COVID-19, with 3728 testing negative, or virus-free.

The latest Boone County data states: 1061 recorded cases; 166 active cases; 892 of those who contracted the virus have been released from isolation and three deaths.

As of July 28, Missouri has had 43,050 cases of Coronavirus, resulting in 1,201 deaths.
