The health departments of Audrain and Boone County have issued updated Coronavirus data.
None are travel-related and all are due to community transmission. According to Chris Newbrough, ACHD’s emergency planner, 841 of those who contracted the Coronavirus are fully recovered and Audrain County has had 14 deaths from the virus. According to a news release from his office, 17,651 people have been tested for COVID-19, with 16,659 testing negative, or virus-free.
The latest Boone County Department of Health and Senior Service data states: 10,255 recorded cases; 729 active cases; 9,499 of those who contracted the virus have been released from isolation and 27 deaths.
As of December 2, Missouri has had 299,762 cases of Coronavirus, resulting in 3,829 deaths.
