Over 20 county agencies and organizations came together Thursday at the Mexico Area Family YMCA to make sure the second dose of Pfizer vaccine got into the arms of those that got their first dose back
in January at the Mexico Memorial Airport. The event, coordinated by the Audrain County Health Department with the help of over 20 other agencies and organizations, was deemed a success by both organizers and attendees alike.
“We are so grateful to everyone with these various agencies that came together to make this such a successful event,” said ACHD Administrator/CEO Craig Brace. “From Audrain County Emergency Management Agency for help with the planning to Moberly Area Community College’s LPN Program for the supply of vaccinators to the cadre of volunteers organized by CMCA Community Organizer Tad Dobyns, everyone came together to make sure this was a success.”
Thursday’s clinic delivered 2,167 second doses to those eligible to receive them.
