The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) is working with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to confirm the Pfizer vaccine delivery date for our 2nd dose “booster” mass vaccination clinic. This 2nd dose clinic is in follow-up to the mass vaccination clinic held at the Mexico Memorial Airport on Friday, January 29th. According to Governor Parson, vaccine shipments have been delayed due to the recent unprecedented weather conditions across the United States.
The Centers for Disease Control guidelines allows for the 2nd dose to be administered between 21 days and 42 days after the 1st dose. ACHD will communicate the date of the 2nd dose mass vaccination clinic once we receive confirmation of the vaccine delivery date. The 2nd dose clinic will administer the Pfizer vaccine to only individuals who received their 1st dose at one the following three locations:
– Friday, January 29th at Mexico Memorial Airport Mass Vaccination Clinic
– Friday, January 29th at Audrain County Health Department following the Mexico Memorial Airport Mass Vaccination Clinic
– Tuesday, February 2nd at Presser Arts Center Mini Vaccination Clinic
Thank you for your patience as we finalize logistics for the 2nd dose mass vaccination clinic.
