Beverly Sue Connolly, 78, of Sturgeon, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at her home.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
Sue was born on October 9, 1943 in Centerville, IA the daughter of Leo and Wilma (Burch) Kelley.
Sue was a 1961 graduate of Houston High School.
On October 14, 1961, Sue married Gerald “Dean” Connolly and he survives of the home.
Along with her husband of 60 years, Sue is survived by a son, Brent Connolly, daughter, Tracy (Ron) Roberts; grandchildren, Ashley (Craig) Mullins, Ryan (Amanda) Roberts, Kristal (Randy Sercu) Roberts, Garrett (Katie) Connolly, Justin (Sadie) Connolly, Joey Connolly; great-grandchildren, Kaley, Addisyn, Bentley, Zachary, Sophia, Audree, Emma, Sam, Tucker, Kyley; sisters, Nancy (David) Fischer, Linda Anderson, June (Gary) Lear; sister-in-law, Donna(Dick) McClellan; many nieces, and their families; a special son, Larry Jesse who always called her mom.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, and her father and mother-in-law, David and Ruby Connolly, a great-grandson, Bryce Roberts, a daughter-in-law, Becky Connolly, a nephew, Dallas Fischer.
Sue was a member of the Sturgeon Baptist Church.
She retired from State Farm after working there for 39 and a half years.
Sue enjoyed cooking, crafting, painting, sewing, and embroidery, but most of all she loved spoiling her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
