Billy (Bill) Lee Bagley

Billy (Bill) Lee Bagley, 81, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Lutheran Towers The Commons Hospice Center in Orlando, Florida.

He was born November 19, 1940 in Centralia, Missouri to J.W. Bagley (predeceased) and is survived by his mother Mary Bagley (age 99 years old) and his brother Donald Bagley of Centralia, Missouri,

He is also survived by his wife Shirley Bagley of 56 years; daughter, Susan Bagley and son, Michael Bagley, and four grandchildren, Megan Sweat, Danielle Bagley, Olivia Bagley, and Matthew Bagley. He had many special friends.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Orlando. He served as a chairman of Deacons, Sunday School Teacher and Director, and served as an usher. He and his wife went on several mission trips to Alberta, Canada. He was also a member of the Gideon’s International North Seminole Camp a number of years. He served in the United States Navy for 8 years and was honorably discharged during the Vietnam era.

He graduated from FTU which is now UCF with a master’s degree in corporate accounting. He retired from Foamex Corporation in Orlando Florida as a corporate accountant in 2004. He loved attending gospel singings, gardening, working in the yard, and walking on the beach. Bill and his wife Shirley were Marshall’s for 10 years at the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Golf Tournaments and also Walt Disney Golf Classics. Bill was an avid golfer and loved the game. He also loved his church and family very much.

The family received friends from 10-11 a.m on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 5000 CR 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. Funeral services will be begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
