Blair Oaks beats Hallsville

The Hallsville Indians lost 49-0 to the Blair Oaks Falcons in the debut of Hallsville’s new stadium.

Hallsville took the opening kickoff and were moving the ball when Blair Oaks intercepted a pass and returned it to the 47-yard line. They put their running game into action and chewed up more than four minutes before scoring on a two-yard run at the 5:37 mark. The kick was good and the Falcons led 7-0.

Hallsville converted a pair of fourth down and four yard situation on the ensuing possession but were set up at fourth and 10 at the end of the first quarter.

They failed to convert and turned the ball over on downs. Blair Oaks ran another touchdown in and kicked the extra point for a 14-0 led.

to get the ball back, but went three and out and were forced to punt.

The Falcons marched down field before scoring on a two-yard touchdown run. The extra point made the score 21-0.

Hallsville was forced to punt and Blair Oaks scored quickly throwing a 25-yard touchdown and kicking for a 28-0 lead to send the teams to the half.

Blair Oaks took the second half kick and scored in less than two minutes on another 25-yard touchdown pass. The point after made the score 35-0.

The Falcons held Hallsville off and added a 20-yard touchdown pass to go up 42-0.

The fourth quarter didn’t see a lot of offense until Blair Oaks ran for a seven-yard touchdown with 1:30 left in the game for the final score of 49-0.

Brayden Matheny was 19-33 for 159 yards and two interceptions. Abe El-Fenaish carried nine times for 10 yards. Hallsville as a team had negative 33 yards rushing. Isaac Stinson had six catches for 92 yards. Colton Nichols also catch six passes for 30 yards. The defense was led by Aidan Szczodroski with nine tackles and Xavier Stinson had six tackles.

Hallsville ends the regular season Friday as they host California.
