Brenda Joyice Ferrell, 79, of Centralia passed away, Monday October 2, 2023, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia.
Brenda was born on July 24, 1944, in Danville, VA the daughter of George W.E. Ferrell and Virginia L. (Pulliam) Ferrell Gibson.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Roy Gibson, brothers, Wayne Ferrell, Jerry Ferrell, Vincent Ferrell, a sister, Diane Forrest, a sister-in-law, Mary Frances Ferrell, nephews Ray Ferrell, Bill Forrest, Brian Ferrell and a niece Julie Forrest.
Brenda was a devout member of the First Baptist Church in Centralia, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Brenda was very talented at crocheting, enjoyed playing cards and other games.
Brenda was loved by her family, and she loved her family.
Memorial donations are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
