Bulldogs lose, 38-31
It was tough, it was heart-breaking, and now it is over.
The Sturgeon Bulldogs boys basketball team lost to Clopton, 38-31 in the second round of the district tournament and finished the season with a 12-15 record.

Sturgeon finished the first quarter on top, 9-7, but after that could never put Clopton away, despited tying the game several times.
At halftime, Clopton led Sturgeon, 19-14 and held on to finish the third ahead 23-16.
Blake Darwent led Sturgeon with 10 points, followed by Jacob Smith with eight and Isaac Bolles with five.
