Boone County mails 2024 property tax statements

Boone County taxpayers will be receiving their 2024 property tax statements, licenses, and special assessments in the mail over the next few weeks. Brian McCollum, Boone County Collector of Revenue, recommends that taxpayers always open and inspect their statements as soon as possible and identify any problems. Taxpayers should contact the Collector's Office with any issues so that they may be resolved before the December 31 due date. Taxpayers are reminded to contact the Collector's Office if they have not received their tax statements by December 1. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the obligation to pay the taxes due, as well as any late charges that may apply under state law. Taxes are assessed as of January 1 each year, and the tax statements are due upon receipt. The last day to pay without penalties and fees is December 31, 2024.

And how are they to impact our thinking especially during an election season? I'm so glad you asked.

the sins of the world, the Lamb that has conquered. It might seem like a contradiction, to have the appearance of being slain and at the same time, being a victorious conqueror. This is no contradiction. This is the blessed hope of the Gospel. The Lamb appears to be slain because the Lamb willingly gave up its life. The Lamb, who is Jesus Christ, died a sacrificial death on the cross in the place of sinners so that all who would call upon the name of Jesus will not face the wrath of God but will stand in the righteousness of Jesus. It is this Lamb who is a conquering King, who is worshiped alongside the one who is seated on the throne. God the Father and God the Son ruling the entire universe, all of creation with no possible opposition that can stand against them.

got something boys. Let's just keep on keeping on." "He discussed the community support." Every year the football team comes to home meets, more and more of them. And the softball team, unbelievable year they had, and they made time to come watch us run, support us. I teach business classes and just seeing my students come to the meets. Just the numbers, just the unbelievable community support. Everyone's there, giving it all. And the runners there were a couple of months with some of them being sick and to preserver and come out on top of it all, "pointing back to the crowd of support, more than 20 still there 30 minutes after the awards ceremony, "they helped make it all possible."
