City of Centralia taking new steps in tree situation
The first steps of Centralia City Halls’ plan to deal with the surfeit of dead, dying and diseased trees, Ash and other breeds, is moving forward.Centralia City Administrator Tara Strain has confirmed the city has retained Braik’s Tree Care to undertake the initial part of the project. Braik’s, Strain said, has contracted workers to inventory all trees on city property and city rights-of-way.Per a city new release the city “has begun a citywide tree inventory to help us better understand and care for the trees located on city-owned property and in the public right-of-way.
