Little Dixie Fire responds to a structure fire
On 9 a.m., Friday, December 20, 10 firefighters with the Little Dixie Fire Protection District were dispatched to the Charles Marquette Jr. residence on Audrain Road 335 in reference to a structure fire. After receiving the call from Marquette, Little Dixie Fire responded with one engine, three tankers, a rescue truck and 10 personnel, Upon arrival a 24ft. by 100ft. structure containing a wood shop on the eastern portion and a residence on the western portion.
Centralia aldermen approve development’s next step
An audience of seven attended the December 16 meeting of the Centralia Board of Aldermen. They heard the aldermen discuss property lot orientation, helmet laws and the upcoming municipal election.
