Hallsville Indians win district championship!
The Hallsville Indians football team won the Class 3 District 3 Championship with a 37-35 win at Moberly. A slow start, with Hallsville in a two score deficit for most of the first half turned into a fourth quarter shoot out.

Centralia Cheerleaders take 2nd at State Championships
The Centralia High School Cheerleading squad took second place in the state championships, November 2 in Columbia. They competed in the small-school division against eight teams. They got there by winning the regional contest, September 29 at Liberty High School outside of Kansas City. During the competition they had 12 girls performing the three-minute routine, backed up by eight alternates. Their routine includes one minute of cheering and two minutes of music-accompanied dance, jumps, stunts and tumbling, along with props such as signs, poms, and a flag. Submitted photo.
