In Centralia, there are two contested races.

In the race for Ward I alderman, Dale Hughes and Christina Stevens are vying for the seat held by outgoing alderman Don Bormann.

Ward II incumbent  Donnie Rodgers is facing a challenge from Jerry Hensley, a former Ward II alderman.

Barring a write-in challenge, incumbent Landon Magley is running unopposed for his Ward III seat.

Each seat is for a two-year term.
