Neighbors teamed up to cheer up one of their own.
That is what happened the evening of Friday, July 10.
A group of at least 50 friends and neighbors of Cathi Grace, the founder of the Ball Road Bakers, gathered at the house of Bob Trask the unofficial mayor of Ball Road. They rolled east along Ball Road and stopped in front of Grace’s house.
Grace a long-time member and supporter of the Centralia community and its youth is finishing her days at home, in hospice.
A long-time supporter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, she is nearing the end of her fight against late-stage lung cancer.
