The Centralia Public Library is upgrading two of the various aspects of its customer service.
The board is searching for bids to fabricate a new outdoor return box as enacting a plan to enhance its Wi-Fi lending policy.
Those were two of the outtakes from the library board’s August 20 meeting.
The drop box on the east side of the library that was donated by the Springfield/Greene County Library in 2009 is starting to show some age and the board recently received a $1,000 donation for its replacement. Amy Hopkins, CPL director said they had received one quote on its replacement so far and she is working on getting others. The board, minus Angie Taylor, president who was absent, unanimously voted for Hopkins to proceed with the replacement.
