The Centralia Panthers reached a new level of success in the high school wrestling program by finishing secnd in the Class 1 team standings at the MSHSAA Wrestling Championships and according to Coach Luke Gramke he knew the accomplishment was well within his teams reach.

“It’s awesome for our program, it’s the highest we’ve ever placed as a team” said Gramke. “We set a goal at the beginning of the year that we wanted a team trophy and we’re coming home with one so I know our kids are happy about that.”

Our kids were intense, motivated and excited to be down here” adding obviously we took a couple of tough losses but also had a lot of good wins.”
