Hallsville cancels against Centralia
Three points: that was the difference between Sturgeon getting revenge over last Friday night’s loss to Harrisburg.
A last-second three-point shot did the trick for Harrisburg and they beat Sturgeon again, 56-53.
Sturgeon had led going into the fourth, in fact, they led most of the game.
Harrisburg led the first quarter, 15-12. Sturgeon came back in the second and led going into halftime, 28-26. Sturgeon kept the lead, ahead 43-38 at the top of the fourth.
A last second three point shot, finished the game in Harrisburg’s favor.
Jacob Brooks and Logan Flashpohler led Sturgeon with 15 points each, backed up by Connor Morgan with 11.
Tanner Lanes led Harrisburg with a game-high 23.
Sturgeon will play North Callaway, 4:30 p.m., Thursday in Centralia. Harrisburg will play Boonville, 6:30 p.m., Thursday in Centralia.

Centralia, whose game against Hallsville was cancelled due to a COVID-19 quarantine for Hallsville, will play Salisbury 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Centralia.
