Zoellers retiring as Centralia’s chamber director
Times are changing.
Especially at the Centralia Chamber of Commerce.
Tim Stevens, chamber president sent the following e-mail to the chamber membership on December 27, announcing the retirement of the chamber’s long-serving director, Ginny Zoellers.
“I’d like to take a minute and update everyone on the state of the Chamber. Ginny Zoellers is retiring as Director of the Centralia Chamber of Commerce after decades of dedicated work for our community and local businesses. I’ve been blessed to spend the last 6+ years as part of the Chamber board working with Ginny on all the special events that she’s helped construct and navigate through the years. She’s put in thousands of hours working with local businesses and event coordinators over the years between Anchor Fest, the Wine Walk, the Car Show and so many others. Ginny will be retiring January 31, 2023. It won’t be easy to find a replacement for her and all who have helped her directly but we’ll do our best. The Chamber Board will begin our search very soon so be on the lookout for updates and be sure to congratulate and thank Ginny for her service as you see her out and about!”
Zoellers discussed her impending retirement with the Fireside Guard.
“It’s good timing,” she said.
