Charles “Bud” Wyatt, Jr.

Charles “Bud” Wyatt, Jr., 90 of Centralia died Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Bud was born on April 2, 1931 in Centralia, the son of Charles A. Wyatt, Sr, and Bessie (Meeks) Wyatt.

Bud married A. LaVerne Richardson and she preceded him in death on December 9, 1992. Bud then married Mary Jane Bush, and she survives.

Along with his wife, Mary, Bud is survived by his children,  Pam Morris, Allen Wyatt and wife Cheri and Linda Winkler and husband Dennis all of Independence; grandchildren, Matt Wyatt, Adam Frazier and Noah Frazier; step-children, Julie Oliver and husband Alan of Moberly, Carl Peiter and wife Mel of Mexico, and Terry Hanks and husband Mike of Chesterfield, IN; step-grandchildren, Rachel Peiter, Rebecca Peiter and Holly Spink; siblings, Marilyn Floyd of Hutchinson, KS, Garland “Short” Wyatt of Wichita, KS, and Judy Ridgeway of Columbia.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Edith Carey, a grandson, Dan McCartney.

Bud enjoyed whit wood, and making miniature baskets out of Peach seeds. The greatest loves in Bud’s life were fiddling and family. He was an accomplished fiddle player and truly loved to spend time with his family.
