Charles Henry “Chuck” Williams, Sr., 72 of Centralia, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia with burial to follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the funeral home.
Charles was born on November 14, 1950, in Hannibal, MO the son of Floyd and Delores Jean (Wagner) Jackson.
Chuck is survived by his children, Linda Lou Boyce of Des Moines, IA, Robert “Bobby” Williams of Fulton, Angela Rackley and husband Chris of Centralia, Charles Williams, Jr., and wife Tiffany of Harrisburg; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rebecca Putnam of Hatton, Floyd P. Jackson and wife Donna of Sturgeon, Connie McSparran of Columbia, and Don Jackson of Niangua.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 29 years Linda Gayle Thomas Williams, and survived by his estranged wife, Mary D. Murray.
Chuck worked for MODOT for 25 years, was a longtime hunter safety course instructor and volunteered as a scout master. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, watching westerns, mowing and being outdoors. Chuck loved his family and was very involved in his children’s lives.
