Christine was first and foremost a family person, whether it was her Missouri or Iowa family. She was a wonderful grandmother and mother. She loved to go with her daughters and their families often for lunch after church. It wasn’t unusual for her to take a nap after lunch while the grandkids hung out with her in the living room. She worked as an Inspector for Diversified Plastics for many years after she did a year trial at nursing. She was a member of Sunnydale Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 40 years. She enjoyed reading, walking up to the library where they had her books ready and waiting because she was a regular visitor. She listened to music, usually the local christian station or old-time country. She liked watching television and movies, normally oldies.
