David Westly Winkler, 61, Centralia, MO passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at his home. He was born October 22, 1962, the son of David E. Winkler and Orletta (Flaherty) Carnes. On July 31, 2009, he was united in marriage to Debbie (Flick) Winkler.
In addition to his wife Debbie, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children James Winkler and his wife Jamie of Rush Hill, MO, Jayden Winkler and his fiancé Alexis of Kansas City, MO, Isaiah Winkler of Centralia, MO, Samantha Goff and her husband Aaron of Paris, MO, Victoria Winkler of Harrisburg, MO, Warrant Officer 1 James McIntire and his wife Hazel of Evans, GA, David McIntire of Moberly, MO, Brady McIntire and his wife Tiffany of Perry, MO and Brant McIntire of Moberly, MO; his father David Winkler and his wife Mary of Hatton, MO; his mother Orletta Carnes of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters Kimalia (Winkler) Bishop of O’Fallon, MO and Karla (Winkler) Anderson and her husband Doug of Mexico, MO; several grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. David was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Campbell.
David worked in the maintenance department for Roberts Consolidated for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, puzzles, and collecting hot wheels. He was an avid BBQ cook and loved spending time with all of his family.
A celebration of life will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
