The bunny’s back. Or at least the Easter eggs for which the bunny is famous are returning to Centralia.
Members of the Centralia High School chapter of the FFA are working to sutff 2,000 brightly colored plastic eggs as they and their CHS sponsors Scott Stone, Lori Lewis and Kelsay Burns work to revive the decades-old event.
It was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year, Stone said, it is back.
With some changes he said.
As before, participatns witll be split into four age groups.
Instead of each getting a quarter of the square, each age group will have the whole square to itself. FFA volunteers and friends will replenish the eggs between sessions.
