Kendra Allen Smith of Thompson was recognized for her ceaseless work supporting Audrain County’s 4-H, FFA and Youth Fair.
In front of a packed pole barn she was inducted into the University of Missouri Extension Service’s Leadership Honor Roll.
“The program recognizes and honors outstanding University of Missouri Extension community leaders who excel at supporting and promoting Extension programs, Robert Stone said prior to presenting Smith with her plaque. “Kendra has been very active in the community in many ways. And she has been very active helping the Audrain County 4-H Youth Fair, starting several years ago when she was a college summer intern with the Extension office. She’s continued working with the fair in many ways. Both last year and this year she has put many extra hours with the fair due to the 4-H specialist’s vacancy. Kendra is the vocational agriculture instructor and FFA advisor at Mexico High School. We greatly appreciate your time and effort, thank you very much.”
